Hartwell started in 2009 with one van, one electrician and a simple promise: treat every home as if it were our own. Today we're a team of 22 qualified tradespeople, but that promise hasn't changed.

Questions we're often asked
Quotes are always free and with no obligation. For emergency call-outs outside normal hours there's a fixed attendance fee of £79, which is deducted from the final bill if you go ahead with the repair.
Small repairs can usually be booked within 2–3 working days, and emergencies the same day. Larger projects such as extensions are typically scheduled 3–6 weeks ahead – we'll give you a firm start date with your quote.
Yes. All our electricians are Part P registered, our heating engineers are Gas Safe registered, and every member of the team is DBS-checked. We carry £5m public liability insurance.
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months, and larger building projects are covered by an insurance-backed guarantee for up to 10 years. Manufacturer warranties on parts apply in addition.
We accept bank transfer, card and Apple/Google Pay. For larger projects we agree staged payments up front, so you never pay for work that hasn't been done. 0% finance is available on boilers.
